  • Attractive starting salary circa $72,000 plus Super

DCA Technologies employs over 100 Parking Officers throughout Australia. We are seeking a self-motivated and strong people manager to lead our On-Street team in the City of Stonnington based in South Yarra and surrounding suburbs.

The Role

A perfect opportunity for an experienced operational leader with a strong compliance focus looking to move into an energetic and fast paced team environment.

As Parking Services Supervisor –Stonnington you will be responsible for the effective supervision of parking enforcement staff to ensure contractual requirements (including KPIs) and council expectations are achieved.  The successful candidate will also ensure parking enforcement duties are performed efficiently and safely as per the DCA OH&S procedures, policies and Safe Work Instructions. Other areas of focus include:

  • Introducing and monitoring continuous improvement initiatives
  • Training and development of staff
  • Liaising with Council on parking related matters
  • Managing administration tasks (Quality checks/,Officer Correspondence Voids and Re-issue Management)

The Essentials

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Proven operational and people management experience
  • Knowledge or understanding of parking enforcement within Victoria
  • Knowledge or understanding of the Victorian Road Rules and other related regulations and legislations
  • Knowledge or understanding of hand held infringement issuing devices
  • Experience in preparing and managing variable staff rosters, reports and continuous improvement strategies
  • Sound planning, organising and monitoring skills and ability to lead and manage field operations staff
  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal and liaison skills
  • Proven capability to plan and facilitate training programs
  • Good understanding of the OH&S obligations and safe working practices
  • Drivers Licence (mandatory)

To be considered for this role you will also be required to complete the following:

  • National Police Check
  • Pre-employment medical check
  • Infringement, Warrant and Order check
