DCA is a database management and software development company that is the leading supplier in handheld technology and in-ground sensors to local councils within Australia and New Zealand.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our Civic Compliance team.  This role involves the support and maintenance of our in-ground vehicle detection sensors and relay networks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring, recording and reporting on the performance and health of in-ground sensors and relay networks at customer sites.
  • Perform updates to sensors and relays.
  • Perform updates to sensors in the field via a handheld device.
  • Organise the setup and calibration of new sensors and relays.
  • User acceptance testing of software releases.
  • Liaising with developers, customers and key stakeholders.

To qualify for this role you need to meet the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and analyse complex systems
  • Strong problem solving and research skills
  • Ability to undertake manual activities and field work

Other capabilities include: commitment to high standards and an ability to work both independently and as a team member. Knowledge of SQL Server will be highly regarded.

Based in our Melbourne office, this role will require you to be methodical, self-motivated and able to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
