Australian Cancer Research Foundation- Data Migration

Client Requirements

Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) needed to move data from their existing CRM, a custom-built Salesforce enterprise instance, to the Salesforce Non Profit Success Pack (NPSP). They rapidly recognised the complexity involved in migrating data between CRMs with different data structures, and looked to DCA both for their expertise success in working with other non-profits on migration and transformation projects.

ACRF engaged DCA to manage the complexities involved in migrating from their custom-built Salesforce instance to the Salesforce NPSP, which required:

  • Working with their chosen implementation partner and the ACRF team
  • Unpacking and transforming the data and objects from their legacy Salesforce system
  • Facilitating their “better use of data” organisational philosophy moving forward
  • Empowering the ACRF team to better understand the wealth of possibilities their data can unlock to plan for future project
