AVID had undergone an acquisition and subsequent integration with Villa World, resulting in two disparate CRM systems – Salesforce and Dynamics – being in use over the course of a year. They needed to integrate into one Salesforce CRM.
The AVID team identified the data management as a major potential challenge for the project, as the legacy system had been set up without validation rules and included a high
level of complexity.
AVID’s data partner for the consolidation would need to:
- Develop a deep understanding of both systems to correctly map the data
- Migrate all data from the system to achieve a single source of truth
- Maintain the integrity of project information like sales allocations, lot information, houses sold
- Complete the project on a short timeline of 6 months to go live by the new financial year.
