Children’s Cancer Institute is the only medical research institute in Australia wholly dedicated to curing childhood cancer and pioneering safer treatments for children. Children’s Cancer Institute have been undertaking their critical research since 1976, beginning as a fund to support childhood cancer research before opening their own laboratories in 1984 and growing into a team of more than 300 researchers, students, and operational staff.
Children’s Cancer Institute organise an annual event, the “CEO Dare to Cure” campaign, a challenge issued to CEOs and business leaders across Australia to take on a dare during this one-day event. In 2020 their fundraising goal was $1 million, enough to fund 10 senior researchers working tirelessly at the Children’s Cancer Institute Lab on curing childhood cancer. To reach this goal, Children’s Cancer Institute needed to connect with Australian CEOs, MDs and other business leaders.
In order to build upon the previous year’s success, Children’s Cancer Institute realised they needed a high quality contact database that would allow them to prospect and target new supporters more effectively. Download the case study and discover how the right data ensured event success
