DCA have been given the responsibility of receiving and responding to emails sent to AHPRA via the email addresses and the WEB ENQUIRY FORM on the AHPRA website, and the 10 individual profession board websites.
Inquiry forms submitted on the AHPRA website for each of these boards (and General enquiries and enquires by State) are redirected to an email folder for clearing by DCA staff.
DCA clears the mailboxes daily, actioning each email as appropriate, responding to the sender on behalf of AHPRA.
When first taking over responsibility for each of the different state inboxes, DCA had to clear a backlog of nearly 10,000 webmails. DCA are now processing between 500 to 1,000 webmails a day.
