Real-Time Contact Validation Tool
Trust your data, wherever it’s come from.
How do you use the DQ Accelerator?
This lightweight validation tool sits within a system, such as a webform or CRM. When a record is entered, it verifies that record in real time, so the information is accurate from the moment it enters your database.
How does it work?
Physical Addresses
The DQ Accelerator uses data from Australia Post to find postal addresses, and, in use cases which require geospatial addresses but not postal ones, we make use of both Australia Post data and the PSMA geocoded database.
Referencing multiple databases provides flexibility and ensures accuracy no matter your use case. Maybe you’re a business-to-consumer company looking to ensure you have a postal delivery address with a valid delivery point identifier (DPID) for every order. Or maybe you’re identifying parcels of land with no DPIDs by lot numbers alone—whatever your use case, the DQ Accelerator is capable of returning an accurate address in real time.
Email Addresses
The DQ Accelerator checks the syntax of entered email addresses, and then when it determines it’s a valid email format, it also executes a test of the email address that’s been entered.
Using the DQ Accelerator for emails can tell you:
- If there is actually an inbox attached to the email address provided
- If an email address will hard bounce
- If an email address is a known spam trap
- If an email address uses a toxic or disposable domain
- If an email address is a catch-all email and not assigned to a specific person
Aside from reducing your own compliance risks, these also protect your sender reputation and prevent your business emails from being erroneously marked as spam—so when you send an email to your contacts, you can rest assured it won’t be filtered out, and they’ll actually receive it.
Telephone Numbers
The DQ Accelerator has the ability to check whether or not the phone number supplied is actually connected to the Australian network. It occurs in real time, and there’s no additional action required from the person entering the data. It’s all immediate and automatic.
This helps you uphold the accuracy of your customer contact phone information, and it also improves the deliverability of any SMS communication that your organisation sends.
